The Kett Report is a new local newsletter for Great Yarmouth & Gorleston — a simple weekly round-up of useful local news, events, openings, updates and worthwhile offers.

The aim is to make it easier to keep up with what’s happening locally without having to piece it together from lots of different websites and social media groups — and to give a little more space to the people, places and businesses that make the area what it is.

Each issue will focus on the things that are genuinely useful or interesting to know about locally — what’s changing, what’s coming up, what’s opening, what’s worth a look, and the occasional offer or recommendation that feels genuinely relevant.

It’s early days, and The Kett Report will grow with the people who read it. If there’s something happening locally that deserves more attention — an event, a new opening, a useful service, a local story or simply something people ought to know about — I’d like to hear about it.

For now, thanks for being here at the beginning. The first proper issue is on the way, and I’m looking forward to building something useful for Great Yarmouth & Gorleston.
